The concept is simple: we run one deal per day at a deep deep discount.  We handpick the best retailers, restaurants, bars, spas and other must have products in your city!  We then write a fun article or blog about the deal of the day, and share our wit, humor and some fun tidbits about the product or service you are getting!  It truly makes the deal an experience not just a purchase.

A Walk Through The Deal

Each morning you'll receive one of our beautiful gifts in your email inbox, The DailyDeal for that day.  You will be able to see all the details of that particular deal including:  The Retail Price, The Percent Off, The Deal Price, and the BONUS!  What's the Bonus?  Its an additional nugget of goodness added to the daily deal you are purchasing.  It could be an appetizer at a restaurant, or a manicure at a spa.  The Bonus ONLY hits, if the Breakthrough threshold of Deals sold is reached.  So spread the love and you and all your mates will get the Bonus in addition to the amazing DailyDeal.  Each DailyDeal will have both simple and detailed descriptions of the Deal offer and the Bonus.  Once you purchase your Deal, you'll be able to simply print your invoice with your Deal code number right on it, and then redeem it at the appropriate location.  No waiting for other people to have to purchase the deal (like some other offers out there on the interweb).  We have mild A.D.D. so no waiting for our deals!

Some deals are offered through our Restaurant partners.  You'll see some absolutely amazing offers from some of the best cuisine in your area!  One thing we highly recommend, is that you tip your waiters appropriately.  In other words, if they do a great job, we recommend to please try to tip on the actual amount of the bill.  Whereas you will be receiving a deep discount on the food you nosh on, the waiters will not be doing any less sweating or flirting, so do them right,  by tipping on the value of the meal.  Or dont, and just tip like the french (Vive La France!).

How your Business Gets Paid

MDT runs the transactions, and collects the money from the consumer (we call them Threaders). MDT issues redemption vouchers to those threaders and a detailed sales report to the retail partner. Within 5 days of the deal ending, MDT cuts a check for the 1/3 of Retailer's portion of the money received (minus the MDT commission of course) the remainder is paid: 1/3 in 30 days and the balance (or final third) in 60 days.

How do we (MyDailyThread and you) make money together?

MyDailyThread markets and promotes our retailer partners via our DailyDeal marketing initiatives. We take a cut from each transaction we directly book on our retail partner's behalf. It works out for everyone involved. The retailers gain pre-paid customers and additional revenue; the customers get a great deal; and MyDailyThread simply gets a commission for their efforts. It ensures that we only select quality retailers to work with that we believe will have an appealing offer for our Threader audience, and that the deals we bring to market have the best formula for success.  In other words, we are hand-picking our partners so that we can all be very successful, and then marketing the heck out of every hand selected deal.  Finally, we pay very close attention to ensure that the right customer base is targeted for our Retailer Partners so that we all win.

When will I be featured?

MyDailyThread spends a lot of time crafting the order and timing for it's deals. We want the deal to have the most impact and try to spread out those from similar categories so each deal is unique and special. If you have a specific date that is preferred, we will take it under advisement but don't guarantee you a particular feature date.

Who does the write-up? Can I write the article for my store?

This is part of the secret sauce. MyDailyThread was built as a lifestyle and tastemaker blog and web-magazine with an audience of thousands.  We are using this strong platform to support the DailyDeal editorial content. We work with our selected retail partners to dive into the story behind that organization and what makes their location special. MDT will assign a writer to interview and build the story with you. While MDT has final editorial control over the story, it will be a collaborative experience. In the end we want to expose our Threader audience to the magic that makes your store special and we need your participation in that process to ensure that vision is portrayed.

Can you give me your mailing list?

We will give you the contact info of the consumers that booked your deal, but beyond that.. nope... We jealously protect the privacy of our Threader community. They trust us to keep our message focused and not to exploit the list beyond the exact items they have asked us to keep them informed about.
